She graduated from the School of Librarians, Archivists, and Information Officers (EBAD) and received a BA in journalism from the Center for Sciences and Technologies in Information CESTI of the University Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar. She then moved to Montreal, Canada where she received a diploma in Video technologies from the Conservatoire Lassalle. While studying, she worked at the press department and the selection committees of both “Vues d'Afrique Festival” and “Days of African and Caribbean Cinema”. In 2007, she shot her first documentary “Njakhass” (Patchwork) which was screened in several film festivals. A year later, she returned to Senegal where she joined the news department of the Senegalese National Television (RTS). In addition to presenting news, she realizes many world television reports and covers culture in Senegal. Since 2010, she was in charge of many cultural programs "Kenkelibaa”, the cinema segment in the morning television program of RTS and “Mozaik”, a musical live show. Currently, she is the Head of Cultural Desk News of RTS.
